Interior design of an eighty-one bedroom apart-hotel in the centre of Birmingham for international hospitality group, Kula.

 

The properties consist of eighty-one bedroom suites with full kitchens, living areas and some terraces, all arranged over seven stories, there was a wide variety of differing floorplans to configure. Creating a sense of home-away-from-home with a luxe yet cool vibe for (mainly) business but also pleasure travellers was one of the most important elements of the brief.

The project had an incredibly short deadline which meant that sourcing and curating the FF&E for such a large building with some uniformity and consistency was a challenge, however it was achieved on time and under-budget.
